Staff

Simon Andrew

was appointed Executive Director of the Housing Fellowship in February 2020. Mr. Andrew holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Northern Iowa. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in Political Science. He is a Certified Economic Development Professional through the National Development Council and a Certified ADA Coordinator through the University of Missouri. Prior experience includes positions in budget and management with the City of Iowa City. Volunteer experience includes positions with the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation and building homes with Habitat for Humanity in Uganda. Simon serves on the Board of Directors for the Housing Trust fund of Johnson County and the Johnson County Affordable Housing Coalition.

Tashundra Marshall

Chief Operating Officer, joined THF as Compliance Specialist in 2008. She is a University of Iowa graduate in Sociology. She is a Certified Tax Credit Professional. Tashundra has over a decade of professional experience with affordable housing. As a Compliance Specialist, she is the go-to person for the many rules that come with funding for the development of and compliance with affordable housing. As COO, Tashundra is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Housing Fellowship.

Jerry Bacon

Jerry Bacon, joined THF as Chief Financial Officer in September, 2024. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting.  He obtained his CPA certificate early in his career. He is a CSA, Certified Senior Advisor helping seniors find safer living solutions. He has over 35 years of accounting experience with public and private firms. Jerry has volunteered with the Big Brothers program and Junior Achievement. He and wife have been foster parents for over 30 years and have 8 children.  

Kymethia Williams

Kymethia Williams is a dedicated professional with more than a decade of experience in property management, community service, and family support. Her journey began in 2012, when she participated in a transitional housing program that provided mentorship in parenting, education, and employment. That experience inspired her to pursue studies in Journalism and Public Communications at the University of Alaska and laid the foundation for her career in property management. Over the years, Kymethia has advanced into leadership roles, and today she serves as Office Manager. She is recognized for her ability to organize complex operations, support residents with care and professionalism, and build strong, collaborative teams. Beyond her professional work, she is passionate about empowering women, children, and families—especially in underserved communities—by helping them grow in confidence, stability, and independence.

Josh Sherod & Shaun Sampa

are full -time maintenance staff members at The Housing Fellowship. They are responsible for completing repairs and maintaining our properties.
